Description de la mission
Descriptif du projet : Placé directement auprès des co-directeurs du Pôle de recherche conjoint entre l’Institut-Pasteur et l’Université de Hong Kong (HKU-Pasteur), et basé(e) au sein du Pôle, le/la conseiller/ère aura vocation à les appuyer afin de développer et d’animer des coopérations scientifiques dans le domaine des maladies infectieuses et de la santé publique, en mettant l’accent sur l’approche « One Health ». Il/elle travaillera au rayonnement du Pôle à travers la mise en place d’une stratégie d’élaboration de nouveaux partenariats de recherche à l’échelle de la région et de levées de fonds. Au-delà, le/la conseiller/ère aura vocation à favoriser le rayonnement de la recherche biomédicale française en participant à des actions de promotion de la recherche française.
Descriptif de la structure d’accueil : Le Pôle de recherche HKU-Pasteur est un laboratoire de recherche conjoint créé en 2000 pour établir une collaboration à long terme entre l’Institut Pasteur et l’Université de Hong Kong (HKU). Centré sur l’interface entre l’homme et l’environnement, comprenant les animaux et les microbes, le Pôle de recherche HKU-Pasteur défend depuis sa création des projets de recherche interdisciplinaires pour combler les lacunes dans les connaissances sur les maladies et promouvoir des découvertes transformatrices qui amélioreront la santé des populations les plus touchées. HKU-Pasteur fait désormais partie de l’école de santé publique de l’Université de Hong Kong, garantissant un solide ancrage académique. Les programmes de recherche impliquent des chercheurs de multiples disciplines des facultés de médecine, d’ingénierie et de chimie, ainsi que des collaborateurs d’autres universités de Hong Kong, du Réseau international Pasteur et d’autres instituts de recherche et universités du monde entier.
