19th international Free-Living Amoebae Meeting (FLAM)

Save the dates for FLAM 2023: June 26-30 2023

The 19th international Free-Living Amoebae Meeting (FLAM) will take place in Poitiers, France from June 26th to 30th, 2023. This meeting brings together the international community of researchers working on various topics related to free-living amoebae. This FLAM was originally planned for June 2021 and postponed to 2023 due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The aim of the meeting is to cover the main advances and remaining challenges in virulence, treatment, interactions, diversity, biology and ecology of free-living amoebae. The scientific program is spread over two and a half days divided into sessions, each dedicated to a particular theme. In total, approximately 50 oral presentations and 30 poster presentations are expected. The social program, favoring informal interactions between participants, includes a day to visit the Châteaux de la Loire and a gala dinner.
