Le groupe de recherche Soft Matters, Ensadlab à l’Ecole des Arts Déco recherche un assistant de recherche avec un profil scientifique ou artistique, avec une expérience souhaitée dans le champ du biodesign, de la bio-impression, de la microbiologie ou de la bio-chimie afin de rejoindre l’équipe interdisciplinaire du projet ImpressioVivo, situé à l’intersection de l’architecture, du design et de la microbiologie. Le projet examine l’impression 3D de biomatériaux informés par des bactéries pour des applications en design circulaire.

L’assistant.e facilitera le développement d’une méthode sur-mesure de création pour des matériaux informés par des bactéries pour l’architecture et le design. Il contribuera aux côtés de l’équipe déjà établie à adpater des protocoles de microbiologie à un contexte de design afin de soutenir le prototypage d’artefacts vers une échelle architecturale basés sur des hydrogels bioluminescents et une mousse de papier calcifiée. L’assistant.e de recherche sera engagé.e dans des activités de maintien et de surveillance de cultures bactériennes aussi bien que de conception, développement, fabrication et caractérisation, documentation et évaluation d’échantillons, de prototypes et la construction de démonstrateurs artistiques basés sur des techniques d’impression 3D par extrusion mécanique.

Le poste est basé dans le groupe  Soft Matters à l’Ensadlab, le laboratoire de recherche de l’Ecole des Arts Décoratifs, avec un accès à Paris Sciences et Lettres University (PSL) et leurs réseaux.
