Du 3 au 5 juillet 2023 a eu lieu le 9e Symposium sur la résistance aux antimicrobiens chez les animaux et dans l’environnement (ARAE 2023) à Tours.
L’objectif du colloque ARAE est de présenter une vision globale de l’impact de l’usage et de la résistance aux antibiotiques dans le monde animal, son environnement et les répercussions consécutives sur la santé humaine. Au cours de six sessions, tous les aspects liés à l’épidémiologie des bactéries pathogènes résistantes aux antibiotiques à potentiel zoonotique, les éléments mobiles contenant des gènes de résistance, les mécanismes émergents de résistance aux antimicrobiens, le résistome des microbiotes, et le rôle de l’environnement comme voie de dissémination et source potentielle de gènes de résistance ont été discutés.
La SFM a remis 3 prix “meilleure communication orale” et 3 prix “meilleur poster”
