A postdoctoral research associate position is available in the Infection Biology Focus Area of the the AO Research Institute Davos (ARI).
The successful applicant will be working within a multi-disciplinary team investigating host-pathogen interactions in the context of Staphylococcus aureus Fracture-related infection (FRI). The position may be particularly suitable for candidates experienced in microbiology (bacteriology and virology) with an interest in developing cross disciplinary skills including mammalian cell culture, in vivo studies, and host pathogen interactions. The successful candidate will lead a research project investigating S. aureus infection of bone, with a focus on anti-virulence strategies and bacteriophage therapy.
