Missions/Activités
L’Institut Pasteur de Guinée (IPGui) est le plus récent des 33 instituts du Pasteur Network (PN) répartis dans le monde. A Conakry depuis 2014 c’est une institution publique guinéenne sous la tutelle du Ministère de l’Enseignement Supérieur, de la Recherche Scientifique et de l’Innovation mais en interaction proche avec les Ministères de la Santé, de l’Elevage et de l’Environnement dans le respect du concept « Une Seule Santé ».
L’IPGui répond aux urgences épidémiques, participe à la surveillance et à la recherche sur les maladies infectieuses, notamment les zoonoses, et fournit des services de santé publique à la population à travers un centre de biologie médicale et de vaccination qui ouvrira ses portes fin 2023. L’IPGui dispose de laboratoires de niveau 3 (avec insectarium) et 2 équipés aux normes européennes (plateforme de diagnostic, sérologie, biologie moléculaire, séquençage, culture cellulaire, microscopie…).
Notre vision est de former et accompagner les scientifiques guinéens pour développer des capacités humaines et technologiques de référence au service de la santé en Guinée.

Les missions et activités seront de :

  • Créer, diriger et superviser les volets scientifiques, administratifs, financiers et techniques de l’unité de Bactériologie.
  • Elaborer et réaliser des projets de recherche en bactériologie classique et moléculaire : antibiorésistance et ses mécanismes moléculaires, facteurs de virulence, typage et épidémiologie moléculaire, approche « One Health »…
  • Participer à l’obtention et à la gestion des financements nécessaires à leur réalisation.
  • Assurer le fonctionnement, l’organisation et la coordination des scientifiques/techniciens de l’unité (en particulier, formation et encadrement de jeunes étudiant/e/s guinéen/ne/s).
  • Effectuer et coordonner les missions de terrain.
  • Interagir avec les autres unités de l’IPGui (virologie, parasitologie, entomologie) et avec le Laboratoire de Biologie Médicale (ouverture fin 2023) qui recevra régulièrement des prélèvements.
  • Diffuser et valoriser les résultats (publications et communications scientifiques, rapports, etc).
  • Développer, participer et/ou coordonner des collaborations de recherche en interne ou à l’échelon national et international, notamment entre instituts du Pasteur Network.
  • Participer à des instances ou groupes de travail ou missions spécifiques de l’IPGui.
  • Être le garant du respect du contexte réglementaire et éthique des projets de recherche.

Profil

Microbiologiste confirmé, Thèse de doctorat en sciences fondamentale, médecine, pharmacie, ou vétérinaire. L’Habilitation à Diriger des Recherches constituerait un plus.

Savoirs :

  • Compétence en bactériologie classique et moléculaire, et dans le domaine de l’antibiorésistance.
  • Expérience à l’international souhaitable.
  • Expérience dans l’obtention de financements, en collaborations nationales ou internationales.
  • Expérience en activités de formation et en santé publique.
  • Sens du relationnel (chercheurs, professionnels de la santé, patients, etc…)
  • Maîtrise du français et de l’anglais (B2 à C1)
  • Rigueur scientifique et créativité
  • Organisation et esprit de synthèse.
